ORCA VOLUNTEERS, 2016

Once again, we can’t thank you all enough for everything you did in 2016! So many Ocean Ridge friends and neighbors pitched in to help ORCA make life a little better for our neighbors in need here in Brunswick County.  At our FUNdraising events, they set up the rooms and checked in the guests, made the food and served the snacks, entertained the patrons and sold the raffle tickets.                   

They purchased backpacks and stuffed them with groceries, for schoolchildren without enough food to last a weekend. They handmade beautiful angels and dolls for patients and families helped by Hospice.  At the holidays, they donated books to children in need.  They also opened up their homes, and once again amazed the community with their beautiful decorations.  Each and every volunteer made a big difference, and helped ORCA – and all of us - achieve another very successful year of philanthropy here in Brunswick County.
