All residents and property owners of Ocean Ridge are invited to help create a colorful sea of flags next month to honor and remember loved ones while supporting Ocean Ridge Charities Association (ORCA) for the benefit of two local organizations: Habitat for Humanity and Hope Harbor Home. 

The flags, with your name or that of your loved one(s), will be displayed in front of Tamer’s during the Ocean Ridge men’s and ladies’ golf leagues Charity Scramble fundraising event on November 3, and they are on sale now through October 20.
 
Individuals, clubs and groups are encouraged to participate, and it’s easy.  Flag order forms are available at the Ridge Center, the Beach House, and at Tamer’s and Tiger’s Eye lobbies. Or you can print the flag request form by clicking the link below.

All proceeds from your flag purchases will go directly through ORCA to the two benefitting charities. Habitat for Humanity provides low- and moderate-income households the opportunity for affordable homeownership. An employee of Ocean Ridge Golf is receiving a home in Shallotte from Habitat for Humanity, so we are especially pleased to support their efforts.  The Hope Harbor Home serves victims of domestic and sexual violence in Brunswick County – its services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter for women and their children, empowerment support group, victim advocacy, and community education and outreach programs.
